On Wednesday evening The River Group were delighted to host the launch of BBC Earth magazine at the Sea Life London Aquarium. A fantastic evening saw guests enjoying the aquatic sights of turtles, sharks, fish – and two divers reading BBC Earth magazine underwater!
Speeches from Nicola Murphy, CEO of The River Group, and Andrew Moultrie, Director of Consumer Products, Publishing and Web Properties for BBC Worldwide, highlighted the impressive amount of work that has gone into the partnership so far. And a video took us behind the scenes as the first issue of BBC Earth magazine rolled off the printing press.
“I’ve always wanted to publish a magazine like BBC Earth. It is a privilege to have access to such an extraordinary wealth of BBC content, knowledge and magic and to be able to make this come to life in the pages of a beautiful new monthly title. The fact this marks the launch of a new partnership between The River Group and BBC Worldwide is the most exciting way to celebrate the future of our two businesses working together”
