Claire Irvin to speak at Words By The Water

River’s Editorial Content Director Claire Irvin will be taking to the stage at this year’s Words by the Water event in Keswick on March 10.

Speaking on the subject of her latest book Mindfulness for Women, Claire’ – who is also Chair of the British Society of Magazine Editors – will look at ‘peace, dignity and mindfulness for women’. She will offer a solutions-based approach to being calm in a hectic world, and a guide on how to find some head space in today’s time-pressed lives.

Claire says: ‘I’m thrilled to be asked to be part of this prestigious event and join such an inspiring line up.’

Words by the Water takes place at the Theatre by the Lake, Keswick from 4-13 March and features a line-up of speakers from the crème of the literary world, including Joan Bakewell, David Aaronovitch, HRH Princess Michael of Kent, acclaimed novelist Wendy Holden, columnist and critic AA Gill and festival president Melvyn Bragg.
