Talent Acquisition Manager

To support our growth plans the company is recruiting for a highly-talented and extremely organised Talent Acquisition Manager to manage our full cycle recruitment process. This is a new role and offers the opportunity for an experienced recruiter to help us build a strong employer brand and ensure we provide a positive candidate experience at all levels. The key responsibilities of the role include identifying current and future hiring needs, advertising job openings online, and sourcing and screening candidates. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in sourcing, interviewing and evaluating candidates.

Essential Job Duties

  • Permanent, Full Time
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to prepare a hiring plan for each vacancy
  • Determine qualification criteria for each position
  • Write job ads for current openings
  • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and via social media (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Manage the employee referral program
  • Attract and source high-calibre candidates through online channels (e.g. professional networks)
  • Screen CVs and applications
  • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
  • Coach best practice interview skills with managers as required
  • Report to hiring managers and the Board on the status of open positions
  • Manage and update the applicant tracking system
  • Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance
  • Be the candidates’ key point of contact throughout the hiring process, providing regular updates
  • Provide robust interview feedback
  • Update job descriptions as required
  • Work with the HR Manager to help new hires onboard
  • Develop and manage potential candidate pipeline for permanent and freelance staff
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding of freelancers

Qualifications & qualities

  • Proven recruitment experience, preferably as an In-house Recruiter
  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting
  • Experience of sourcing candidates is essential
  • Experienced in using various interview formats
  • Ability to organise skills assessments where appropriate
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Good knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Degree in Human Resources or relevant field would be preferred
  • Experience of working in a creative agency or similar environment is essential

Report to

  • The Finance Director, who heads up Finance and Operations
  • The Talent Acquisition Manager will jointly report to the Deputy Finance Director with a dotted line to HR
  • The applicant tracking system in use is Breathe HR


  • Auto-enrolment for first three years, then 5% of salary matched, after 3 years’ service
  • 25 days holiday with an additional day each year of service rising to 30 days
  • Office Hours are 9.30 to 6.00 (Monday to Thursday). 9.30 to 4.00 (Fridays)
