Agency Talent Executive

Role

The position will be aiding the Talent Manager to source and secure talent for a range of marketing campaigns, digital and social media for our clients. You will be required to work with our in-house research and insight team, to ensure that we recommend the best solutions for client projects. You will then help ensure the effective, efficient, and successful management of each individual, their agents or representation.

We are looking for individual who has had an experience with liaising with contacts in the industry and the ability to form new relationships quickly. River Group have a very broad mix of clients and could be called upon to create almost any kind of marketing content. Therefore, the successful candidate will need to be able to be open and able to assist with work on a wide range of clients.  

It will be a distinct advantage in the role, to have experience of working with or within a marketing agency. A general understanding and practical experience across Social Media Planning, Paid Social, Digital Media, Podcasts and Traditional Media is also desirable.

Experience

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate ability and understanding across the following core competencies: –

  • Influencer Marketing – General idea of who are the key players in the influencer world
  • Handling Guest, Expert, and Influencer communication
  • Digital and social media best practice and expectations
  • Understanding social listening, Research and Insight
  • Relationship management
  • General admin and organisational skills

Professional experience

The successful candidate will have 1-2 Years of experience in the sector, preferably in an agency environment working across a variety of projects, with a mix of big brand clients, challenger brands and start-ups as clients.

Our clients task us to not only secure the right kind of talent to work on specific projects but to also make recommendations on how that talent should work with the brand or business we want them to represent. Candidates for this role should be able to assist the talent manager with strategic input across the following technologies: –

  • Web
  • Social Media
  • Podcasts
  • Live Streaming
  • Event based marketing

Personal attributes

We are looking for a commercially savvy, hands on, enthusiastic team player. You will be self-motivated to constantly learn more about the ever-expanding and changing digital world and, willing to build up a network of contacts.
