The River Group is proud to announce Ellie-Rose Burman has been crowned one of this year’s FIPP and UPM’s 2017 Rising Star winners. Judges also awarded The River Group for the overall high standard of their entries.
This recognition comes hot on the heels of River’s double shortlisting in the prestigious PPA Digital Awards and the Travel Media Awards 2017 for Consumer Magazine of the Year – Journey – Princess Cruises.
Judges described this as the most competitive year since FIPP and UPM’s Rising Star Awards started in 2015. In addition, the judges recognised The River Group for the overall high standard of their entries.
James Hewes, president and CEO of FIPP said, “2017 was undoubtedly the most competitive year ever for the FIPP Rising Star Awards. The judges were impressed with the incredibly high standard of the entries and there was plenty of vigorous debate when choosing the four winners. This year’s FIPP Rising Stars represent the cream of young talent in our industry and fully deserve their achievement as this year’s winners.
“For the first time this year, we have also decided to award three company prizes, to recognise the consistently high quality of entries from those organisations. Congratulations to The River Group, Immediate Media Co. and Bloomberg Media for their demonstrable commitment to supporting and developing new talent.”
Nicola Murphy, CEO of The River Group says: “We are delighted with this news, both for us and for our clients. This is further testament to our talented teams that River’s work is of outstanding quality.
