River’s own Lauren Carbran, Editor for The Perfume Shop’s blog #ScentsBlog, just won the Rising Star award at The Jasmine Awards.
The Jasmine Awards, the premier awards for journalists writing on the subject of fragrance, were held today at BAFTA, Piccadilly, London, W1. Presiding over the event were the Chairman of the The Fragrance Foundation, Annalise Fard, Director at Harrods, and Chairman of The Jasmine Awards Margaret Attwooll, General Manager of Parfums Christian Dior.
The judging panel who reviewed articles specifically written on the subject of fragrance throughout 2016 comprised of industry expert Catherine Mitchell, International Flavours and Fragrances – Chairman of the Judging Panel, alongside Producer Sadie Frost, Author Veronica Henry, Author Rachel Joyce, Actress Laura Pradelska, Blogger and Fashion Editor Melanie Rickey, VP, Commercial Director for Beauty & Gifting at Boots Joanna Rogers and Author Jane Thynne.
This is a huge accomplishment for Lauren, The River Group and The Perfume Shop as the blog has only just celebrated it’s first birthday and really reflects all the hard work everyone has put in. You can read the winning blog post here.
