River helps launch new Superdrug podcast, The Beauty Of It All

Together with River, Superdrug has launched its very first podcast.

Called The Beauty Of It All and hosted by TV and radio presenter Vick Hope, the eight-episode series takes a deep dive into issues surrounding the beauty industry, with a mix of celebrity guests and influencers discussing everything from vegan beauty to the influence of drag culture on makeup.

Coinciding with the launch of Love Island, the first episode had Megan Barton-Hanson talking about the impact of fame on self-esteem, self-image and dating, and has already seen media coverage from The Mirror online.

River concepted the topics, wrote the scripts for all the episodes and talent-managed all bookings for hosts and guests.

A new episode will launch every Sunday for eight weeks and will be available on IOS and Android. Simon Comins, Superdrug Commercial Director, comments, ‘We are always looking to engage with our customers in new ways, and we’re delighted to be launching our first podcast. The series covers the wider debate that beauty brings, focusing on the issues and trends that our customers are interested in.’
